We're a boutique gallery bringing art with soul and purpose directly from the artisan's heart and home to yours. We hand select incredible Méxican artists who don't have the means to have their own gallery just yet, they work from their home studios or local art walks. We empower these artists by bringing their work across borders, to boost their income and reach. In other words, you won't find their incredible work anywhere else.

Centuries of weaving history

This art form has been passed down from generation to generation. Baskets of raw local wool and native plants are gathered by fellow community members. Once the shorn wool is hand cleaned with yucca-root, it is washed and dried in the sun. The wool is then hand-dyed with local plants and extracts, then delicately spun into spools. The beautiful spools are arranged by color to compose the chosen pattern, then the weaver’s hands move purposefully, looping hundreds of wool threads gradually revealing such intricate and gorgeous designs.

Welcoming the multigenerational craft of these artisans into your home supports entrepreneurial creator communities outside their local borders, and the continuation of a time-honored tradition.

As you walk through each artist’s home studio, you can't help but feel the skill, passion, and pure joy each artist brings to every aspect of their creative process. Whether intricately weaving ancient symbols row by row, inch by inch, into treasured modern heirlooms or brining to life abstract expressionisnm in a modern new way, the artist is in their own perfect habitat.

Each hand-dyed, homespun, or handpainted piece represents a wonderful slice of the rich weaving heritage and history of artists in México, each forgeous pieces is designed to find its way directly from the artist’s home to yours.
